Who has to send e-invoices in Belgium?

All VAT-taxable businesses established in Belgium that invoice each other, including businesses under the small-business exemption scheme. Invoices to private consumers and some exempt activities are out of scope. A PDF by email is no longer a valid invoice between Belgian businesses.

0208 or 9925?

Most Belgian companies are registered on Peppol with their enterprise number under scheme 0208. Some are registered with their VAT number under 9925. Use the identifier your customer is registered with — our validator checks both against the official check digit.
