What this validator checks for France

  • French VAT key calculated from the SIREN
  • EN 16931 mandatory fields and calculations
  • Exemption reasons for exempt (E) and reverse-charge (AE) lines
  • Electronic address schemes against the EAS code list
  • Payment terms or due date when an amount is due (BR-CO-25)

UBL in the French reform

France accepts UBL 2.1, UN/CEFACT CII and Factur-X as core formats. UBL is a pure XML format without a visual PDF, which makes it the easiest for automated processing. A UBL invoice that passes EN 16931 is a solid base; your plateforme agréée adds the French extensions.
