What it means
Each discount or charge must clearly identify which of the two it is. The exported indicator must use one of the two permitted values.
Typical causes
- The export uses yes/no or 1/0.
- The indicator uses capital letters or is empty.
How to fix it
- Check whether the entry is a discount or a charge.
- Ask your provider to export ChargeIndicator as lowercase true for a charge or false for a discount.
What the rule says (technical)
Allowance/charge ChargeIndicator value MUST equal 'true' or 'false'.
Use lowercase true or false.
