How to send e-invoices from QuickBooks Online
Peppol via partnerIntuit · 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
An Intuit support response says QuickBooks Online does not have the built-in Peppol capability requested and directs users to third-party integrations. The integration provider must establish the actual transmission workflow and supported formats.
Before you start
- Choose a compatible electronic invoicing integration.
- Confirm that it supports the organisation’s country and the recipient’s requirements.
- Complete the provider’s registration and connection requirements.
Step by step
- 1Open Find my integrations from the dashboard.
- 2Search for a compatible electronic invoicing provider.
- 3Confirm Peppol sending support for the relevant QuickBooks edition.
- 4Connect the provider using its own documented instructions.
- 5Check the exported or synchronised invoice data.
- 6Send through the provider and inspect its delivery result.
Why invoices from QuickBooks Online get rejected
- Confirm that the integration transmits through Peppol rather than merely emailing invoices.
- Check that the integration collects the recipient identifier and required tax information before sending.
Good to know
- The source is a QuickBooks Team response in Intuit’s community, not a detailed implementation guide.
- Provider-specific formats, field mappings and delivery controls were not verified.
