What it means
You can provide either the VAT tax point date (BT-7) or a code describing how that date is determined (BT-8), but not both. This invoice contains both.
Typical causes
- A date was entered while a default timing code remained active
- Two source fields were both mapped into the export
How to fix it
- Check whether you intend to provide a specific VAT tax point date or a timing code.
- Keep the intended option and remove the other from the electronic invoice.
What the rule says (technical)
Value added tax point date (BT-7) and Value added tax point date code (BT-8) are mutually exclusive.
Keep either cbc:TaxPointDate or InvoicePeriod/cbc:DescriptionCode, not both.
