How to send e-invoices from DATEV
Peppol via add-onDATEV eG · 🇩🇪
DATEV’s E-Rechnungsplattform provides access to separate electronic invoice services. DATEV states that participants in its integrated E-Rechnungspostfach are registered in Peppol and TRAFFIQX for invoice exchange.
Before you start
- Register on the DATEV E-Rechnungsplattform.
- Use the authentication method applicable to the business or practice.
- Activate the required invoice creation and mailbox services.
- Check the recipient’s electronic delivery details.
Step by step
- 1Sign in to the DATEV E-Rechnungsplattform.
- 2Complete the organisation’s registration.
- 3Activate the E-Rechnungspostfach service needed for network exchange.
- 4Create the invoice using an appropriate invoicing service.
- 5Check recipient and invoice information.
- 6Transmit through the activated service and review the available status information.
Why invoices from DATEV get rejected
- Platform registration alone does not establish that the required sending service has been activated.
- Check electronic recipient details before transmission rather than relying only on a postal address.
Good to know
- This entry concerns the E-Rechnungsplattform services, not native sending from every DATEV accounting application.
- The inspected overview does not establish exact sending controls or output format versions.
