IV-SYN-03
Number or date format is incorrect
ErrorInvoiceVerify
Also available in:NederlandsFrançais
What it means
A number or date is written in a format the invoice standard cannot read. Amounts, quantities and percentages must be decimal numbers, and dates must follow the chosen invoice format.
Typical causes
- The export includes currency symbols or thousands separators
- Dates were exported in the local display format
How to fix it
- Check the value highlighted by the validator
- Ask your provider to export numbers with a decimal point and no currency symbols or thousands separators
- Use YYYY-MM-DD dates for UBL or YYYYMMDD with format 102 for CII, without a time
What the rule says (technical)
Amounts, quantities and percentages must be decimal numbers; dates must use the syntax date format (YYYY-MM-DD in UBL, YYYYMMDD with format 102 in CII).
Remove thousands separators and currency symbols, use a dot as decimal separator and write dates without time components.
