PEPPOL-EN16931-P0100
Invoice type is not allowed in Peppol
ErrorPeppol BIS 3.0BT-3
Also available in:NederlandsFrançais
What it means
The invoice uses a document type code outside the permitted Peppol invoice list. The code must describe the kind of document you are sending.
Typical causes
- The export uses an internal document type code.
- A credit note was exported as an invoice.
How to fix it
- Check the document’s actual purpose.
- For a normal invoice, select type 380; use another type only if permitted and appropriate.
- For a credit note, use the credit note export rather than changing only the code.
What the rule says (technical)
Invoice type code MUST be set according to the Peppol BIS 3 subset (e.g. 380, 383, 386, 393, 82, 80, 84, 395, 575, 623, 780 …).
Use 380 for a normal invoice. Use a CreditNote document for credit notes.
