What it means
The invoice must contain the seller’s name (BT-27). The seller cannot be identified by name in the electronic file.
Typical causes
- Your company name is blank in the settings
- The name appears only on the PDF or logo
How to fix it
- Enter your company’s legal name in the company settings
- Ask your provider to include it as the seller name in the electronic export
What the rule says (technical)
An Invoice shall contain the Seller name (BT-27).
Add the registered legal name under cac:PartyLegalEntity/cbc:RegistrationName of the supplier party.
