What it means
The seller’s postal address must include a country code (BT-40). That code is missing from the electronic invoice.
Typical causes
- The country was left blank
- The country name is shown but its code is not exported
How to fix it
- Select the country in your company settings
- Export the two-letter ISO country code, such as NL, BE or FR
What the rule says (technical)
The Seller postal address (BG-5) shall contain a Seller country code (BT-40).
Add cac:Country/cbc:IdentificationCode with an ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code, e.g. DE.
