What it means

The invoice must include the seller’s electronic address for e-invoicing. The seller’s postal address or ordinary email address does not replace this Peppol identifier.

Typical causes

  • The company’s Peppol address is not configured.
  • The export template omits the seller’s electronic address.

How to fix it

  1. Confirm your company’s electronic address and address type with your provider.
  2. Enter them in your company’s e-invoicing settings.
  3. Have the export include the seller’s cbc:EndpointID and schemeID.
What the rule says (technical)

Seller electronic address MUST be provided.

Add cbc:EndpointID with schemeID to the supplier party.
