How to send e-invoices from Twinfield
File export onlyUBL SI 1.1Wolters Kluwer · 🇳🇱
Twinfield’s official instructions describe adding a UBL invoice to the existing PDF or invoice-link delivery. That documented file-delivery workflow is not evidence of Peppol network transmission.
Before you start
- Use a Dutch administration for the documented UBL feature.
- Enable UBL delivery in administration settings.
- Map VAT codes to the appropriate UBL codes.
- Use a customer with a Dutch address for this documented workflow.
Step by step
- 1Open Instellingen > Administratie-instellingen > Administratie-instellingen.
- 2Enable UBL in the UBL category and save.
- 3Open Btw in the administration settings.
- 4Map the relevant VAT codes to UBL codes.
- 5Create and check the sales invoice.
- 6Send the invoice with its additional UBL attachment.
Why invoices from Twinfield get rejected
- Complete VAT-to-UBL mappings before sending; the vendor specifically requires these mappings.
- Do not treat an emailed UBL attachment as proof of Peppol delivery.
Good to know
- The classification describes the verified UBL workflow, not a finding that Twinfield has no other Peppol options.
- The official article was readable in indexed results, but direct retrieval was blocked.
- UBL SI 1.1 output must not be assumed to meet a recipient’s current Peppol BIS requirements.
